Bjørn Valentin

I am Bjørn, a dedicated Danish actor with a deep passion for complex characters and a wide-ranging experience in film, television, and theater

ABOUT ME

I began my journey in Danish film and theatre, driven to take on intense, layered roles that challenge myself and the audience. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to portray complex characters, like the ruthless bookmaker Ernis in “Ingenmandsland” (directed by Joey Moe) and my upcoming lead as Izudin in the Swedish feature "Slynglarna," beginning production in 2025.
I'm drawn to characters with deep histories and internal conflicts, which reveal raw stories beneath the surface. My theater roles, such as Hud in Hair and Gbatokai in Festen, have deepened my commitment to embodying diverse, deeply human personas. Inspired by intricate storytelling like “The Boys” and the German series "Dark," I’m excited to continue bringing such compelling narratives to life.
My grandmother's unwavering support has been a key influence in my journey, which grounded me and motivated me to pursue my path. I envision joining global projects that resonate and challenge me while connecting with new audiences. In five years, I see myself evolving with each role, embracing the creative and human aspects of an actor’s life.
