Yassen Atanasov

Yassen Atabassov is a talented young actor based in Bulgaria.

ABOUT ME

Atanassov received his Bachelor of Drama Acting from NATFA in 2021. After graduation, he did a one month Lee Strasberg technique training with Paul Rush and attended a casting workshop with Nathalie Cheron during the Kranj Film Festival in Slovenia. By this point, he has worked with one of the most famous Bulgarian actors and directors, including Kamen Donev, Ivaylo Hristov, and Stoyan Radev. He is currently playing in more than 10 theatre productions in both “Theatre Bulgarian Army” and “Theatre 199” in Sofia. The types of roles he mostly specializes in are the brave young soldier, the villain, the psycho, or the naïve guy we laugh at. Besides that, he is undergoing a one-year study at TIAS under the guidance of Adam Davenport in the Chubbuck acting method.
